Breitbart News’ Eric Lichtblau has a new article in his “Google Analytics: How to Use It” series, which you can read here.
Lichtbrunner explains how to track down links to Google and analyze how many of them are “backlinks” or “spam” to your website.
He explains that Google’s tracking tool will let you track down and report backlinks to your site that you can link to as well as to your competitors’ sites.
In order to track them down, the Google Analytics tool uses a keyword search, which will search the web for a phrase with the same search engine keyword.
This phrase will then appear on the Google search results page for your search term.
Then, you can click the link in the Google results page to see the backlink analysis of that particular phrase.
Lichbauer then explains how he uses Google Analytics data to create the backlinks profile for his site, which is then then linked back to the Google analytics page and automatically displayed in the front of your site.
He also explains how Google uses its data to display his own website in the search results.
You can read more about it in his article here.
